I'm fortunate in that the time when I switched to DW coincided
with a shift in the people I spend the majority of my online time
hanging out with.
Many (if not most) of the accounts on my LJ flist were either inactive
or extremely sparse. The majority of the ones that weren't are
folks I see on twitter, so I don't feel like I've lost
touch with them completely.
All in all, though, mine's a pretty unusual case, I think. =/ *hugs*

TBH, I just let mine sit for a long time.
